Track Santa on Google Earth this Christmas!

Dec24th

Santa on Google EarchWith less that 24 hours to go before Santa starts arriving down your chimney, you can now track where he is via Google Earth!

The “Track Santa” technology is provided by the bi-national U.S.-Canadian military organization responsible for the aerospace and maritime defense of the United States and Canada, simply known as NORAD.

NORAD uses four high-tech systems to track Santa – radar, satellites, Santa Cams and fighter jets.  The tracking Santa starts on Christmas Eve, where NORAD monitors the radar systems continuously for indications that Santa Claus has left the North Pole.

According to an official statement by NORAD, they have already confirmed that Santa and his fully-loaded, reindeer-powered sleigh took off from the North Pole and soared into the arctic sky at 6:00 a.m. EST.
