Charlton to remember
Players, staff and supporters of Charlton Athletic Football Club and opponents Tranmere Rovers will join forces on Saturday 30th January to remember those who have passed away since the start of 2009.
The two teams will gather on the edge of the centre circle as everyone within The Valley participates in a minute-long period of applause prior to kick-off.
Supporters have been submitting names of loved ones who have died and BreamTeam have now implemented this list, which will scroll up the big screen during the 60 seconds.
Among the 149 names will be that of Bert Johnson, who represented Charlton in the 1946 and 1947 FA Cup finals, plus fellow former Addicks players Dudley Forbes, Tommy Lumley, Alex McRae and Ray Tumbridge, who have all passed away since the start of last year.
