South Sudan’s Malek Academy has been given a complete overhaul and redesign by BreamTeam in order to showcase this groundbreaking and important project.

Malek Academy is a non-profit making private institution that will cater equally for boys and girls. The Academy will provide an opportunity for 400 x 13-17 year old resident boys and girls from the whole of South Sudan to benefit from a high standard of education.

The Academy required a website to showcase the project, as well as assist in the sponsorship of buildings and infrastructure.  The main focus was the creation of an interactive “site map”, which provides zoom and pan capabilities to showcase each and every building within the Academy’s architectural plans. This was created using technologies such as AJAX and jQuery and provides detailed information for potential sponsors.

Since its launch during the September 2010, the website had already received international recognition.
