The smartest pet goldfish has arrived!

Mar3rd

If you haven’t seen the excellent advert from Staydrenched, then keep reading!  First it was Brains from Thunderbirds, now its one of our favourites… the domestic Goldfish!

“Mr Memory” is billed as the world’s smartest pet goldfish and can remember as far back as summer 1982. His skills and agility are put to the test and shown during a special memory tricks course and as he is so clever, no real animals are hurt in the making of this!

Staydrenched, a product of Britvic Soft Drinks have combined their “stay mentally hydrated” brand and produced another superb advert.

To see our very own Goldfish in action (who we believe to be slightly clever), take a look at what it can do here – http://www.breamteam.com/services/cms.php

Meanwhile, the YouTube hosted clip, can be viewed below!

Charlton to remember

Jan29th

Players, staff and supporters of Charlton Athletic Football Club and opponents Tranmere Rovers will join forces on Saturday 30th January to remember those who have passed away since the start of 2009.

The two teams will gather on the edge of the centre circle as everyone within The Valley participates in a minute-long period of applause prior to kick-off.

Supporters have been submitting names of loved ones who have died and BreamTeam have now implemented this list, which will scroll up the big screen during the 60 seconds.

Among the 149 names will be that of Bert Johnson, who represented Charlton in the 1946 and 1947 FA Cup finals, plus fellow former Addicks players Dudley Forbes, Tommy Lumley, Alex McRae and Ray Tumbridge, who have all passed away since the start of last year.

Japanese develop see-through goldfish

Jan4th

See-through GoldfishKeeping to our brand and the whole Goldfish vibe, we couldn’t let this story go by without a mention on our blog

Japanese researchers have succeeded in producing goldfish whose beating hearts can be seen through translucent scales and skin.

The transparent creatures are part of efforts to reduce the need for dissections, which have become increasingly controversial, particularly in schools.

“You can see a live heart and other organs because the scales and skin have no pigments,” said Yutaka Tamaru, an associate professor in the department of life science at Mie University.

By the way, Happy New Year to one and all!

Track Santa on Google Earth this Christmas!

Dec24th

Santa on Google EarchWith less that 24 hours to go before Santa starts arriving down your chimney, you can now track where he is via Google Earth!

The “Track Santa” technology is provided by the bi-national U.S.-Canadian military organization responsible for the aerospace and maritime defense of the United States and Canada, simply known as NORAD.

NORAD uses four high-tech systems to track Santa – radar, satellites, Santa Cams and fighter jets.  The tracking Santa starts on Christmas Eve, where NORAD monitors the radar systems continuously for indications that Santa Claus has left the North Pole.

According to an official statement by NORAD, they have already confirmed that Santa and his fully-loaded, reindeer-powered sleigh took off from the North Pole and soared into the arctic sky at 6:00 a.m. EST.

I’ve found a spider everyone!

Nov6th

Spider

Upon looking out of the office window this afternoon to check the weather situation, I managed to scare myself by setting my eyes on the biggest “normal” spider I have seen!

Obviously the camera was on the desk, and in order to provide proof, I took a photo!  Big, eh?
