BreamTeam Launch New Charlton Website
A brand new website has been launched for Charlton Athletic Women’s FC as the team gets ready for the start of the 2010/2011 campaign.
BreamTeam, who are Digital Partners of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and Charlton Athletic Women’s FC, have created a website interface which has been built solely on BreamTeam’s Goldfish Enterprise platform. The website’s core focus is news and player information with the home page therefore including a main portal for such content, which adds to a graphical-rich layout.
From the start of the 2007/08 season, the Charlton Athletic Women and Girls came under the umbrella of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and the new website is said to have set a benchmark for all clubs who are looking for a sound web presence. The Trust’s Chief Executive, Jason Morgan said: “The new website will enable us to promote Women’s Football in a way that has never really been possible before.
“It will enable us to generate more interest and support for our teams, it will promote our players and it will provide a professional platform to attract much needed sponsorship support.
“Without a doubt, this new website is the best in women’s football and all of us on the Women’s Football Committee are delighted with it, so a huge thank you must go to BreamTeam for their continued support.”
The new website, which is accessible via www.cafcwomen.co.uk, has been launched in anticipation of the new 2010/2011 season which kicks-off with a home fixture against Gillingham on Sunday 22nd August at Thamesmead Town FC’s Bayliss Avenue ground.
As well as providing users with a full breakdown of fixtures and match reports, the “Player” section of the website is divided into squad level and then individual player profiles. All of which include biographies, statistics, imagery and a gallery slideshow per player.
The Chairman of the Women’s and Girls’ Football Committee, Steve Sutherland said: “The launch of the new website for Women’s Football at Charlton Athletic Community Trust is an indication of how far we have come since the Trust took over the running of women’s and girls’ football at Charlton Athletic.
“Under the guidance of Paul Mortimer and his team we have been steadily laying solid foundations for the growth and longevity of the female game at Charlton and I firmly believe that we now have a squad of young players with tremendous potential and that this year, we will be the team to beat in the FA Women’s Premier League South.”
Charlton Athletic Women’s & Girls’ Football, Technical Director, Paul Mortimer said: “This fantastic website will give us a chance to reach more potential followers of Women’s football as well as raising the profile of this great football club.
“Top clubs always have the very best platforms to showcase their talents and in this website we definitely have that.
I am sure our work on the pitch can mirror the success that this website will be in the future!”

BreamTeam have recently pushed Gallery Direct’s online shop presence into another gear, with the inclusion of an enhanced payment gateway. This addition was a much needed step, given the increasing growth and popularity of the online system, which we first put in place back in 2009.
With the football season coming to an end, it’s that time of year when the supporters can have their say on who they feel has played the best and offered up the most for the cause, in the annual “
