APAD
The Association of Public Authority Deputies (APAD) was formed in 2004 by the members of a group set up by the Public Guardianship Office (PGO) some two years earlier. The group contains representatives from Local Authorities across England and Wales together with staff from the PGO.
Representing Local Authorities when meeting with representatives from all parts of HM Government, APAD have developed their own Best Practice Guidance and hold regional meetings to enable members to network and share problems/ideas.
BreamTeam originally built the APAD website back in 2007, but the organisation required an update in order to take advantage of the latest software advances.
Built entirely upon the Goldfish CMS system, the website features news, meeting agendas and minutes, plus a completely revolutionary community portal with a social networking module. Working alongside the APAD Management Committee, BreamTeam produced a brand new design that provides an enhanced graphical interface and the ability to engage with their members with rich and easily accessible content. |
