With Women's and girls' football continuing to grow with more players competing in affiliated competition than any other female team sport, Charlton Athletic required a new web presence.
Charlton were formed in 2000, when Croydon, who had won the league title and lifted the FA Cup the previous season, came under the umbrella of the Addicks.
From the start of the 2007/08 season, the Charlton Athletic women and girls came under the umbrella of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and are now striving for promotion to the top tier once again.
The website's core focus is news and player information. The home page therefore includes a main portal for such content which adds to a graphical-rich layout.
As well as providing users with a full breakdown of fixtures and match reports, the "Player" section is divided into squad level and then individual player profiles. All of which include biographies, statistics, imagery and a gallery slideshow per player.
The website is built solely on BreamTeam's Goldfish Enterprise platform and key social networking resources, including Twitter and Facebook are also incorporated.
