After operating a two-page section on the official Greenwich Council website, the Starting Blocks Trust were keen to explore the possibilities of having their own portal.
Greenwich Starting Blocks
Greenwich Starting Blocks Trust is a charity committed to helping young people's sporting dreams come true. It provides bursaries to give young athletes a chance to develop their talents.
BreamTeam's main focus was to showcase the athletes who currently receive support from the charity.
The new website makes use of cutting edge technologies; providing news, information and profiles on the athletes, plus imagery and more. Greenwich Starting Blocks also features eBreamTeam, which delivers regular email newsletters to its database. To mark the launch of the website, BreamTeam produced a showreel video which was exclusively aired at the Gala Dinner during September 2009, which was hosted at The Valley, Charlton with guest speaker Olympian Jonathan Edwards. |
