United Business Machines
United Business Machines (UBM) for over 20 years has supplied multi functional photocopiers and other hardware and software to businesses that require print, copy, scan, fax and digital document handling services.
Utilising the supplied design, BreamTeam started by enhancing these further to ensure the website template plugged straight into Goldfish CMS.
From a development point of view, this project is feature packed and enables the Goldfish CMS to come into its own. From managing the sitemap, to adding in news, products, video content and more. The site is displayed with three columns. The left-hand-side housing the main navigation, the middle featuring all page content and the right-hand-side including modules, such as the instant quote form, video and a variety of page "advertisements". Using a product database (similar to an ecommerce solution but without the payment gateways), all UBM products are fed out to two areas of the website. In the first instance, this is through an animated brochure, that can have it's pages turned by selecting any corner of a respective page and either left-clicking or dragging your mouse, to simulate your usual finger motion of turning the page in physical book. The second display of products is through HTML. This then allows the user to search the database and view full product details, whilst then being able to easily request an online quote. In addition to video content, UBM also take full advantage of eBreamTeam, which delivers regular email newsletters to their customer database. |
